Directed by Steve Lippman aka FLIP. A conceptual film commissioned for the DualDisc/DVD edition of David Bowie’s album “Reality.” Songs include “Never Get Old,” “The Loneliest Guy,” “Bring Me The Disco King,” and “New Killer Star.” The film was called “an essential must-have” by Rolling Stone, was a selection of the Woodstock Film Festival, and also screened at the Music Doc Fest/Malmo, Sweden, Sound Unseen Film Festival, Minneapolis, MN, In-Edit/Barcelona film festivals and the 2013 Lincoln Center Film Society “Bowie On Film” retrospective. Shot on Super 8mm, Super 16mm and select 35mm run through a hand-cranked vintage “silent-movie” camera. Imagery from the film was interpolated into Bowie’s worldwide “A Reality Tour.”
