Talks at Google hosted Donny McCaslin, a three-time GRAMMY® nominated saxophonist and composer. Featured on David Bowie‘s Blackstar, McCaslin & his band are known as “David Bowie’s last band”.

Donny’s new recording, Beyond Now, is greatly influenced by the time he spent with David Bowie during the recording of Blackstar, which debuted #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart and further helped launch McCaslin onto the world stage. Beyond Now features new treatments of the classic Bowie songs “Warszawa” and “A Small Plot of Land”, as well as 5 new McCaslin compositions.

As one of the most sought after sidemen in the business, McCaslin is a current member of the GRAMMY® Award winning Maria Schneider Orchestra and has performed with many legendary musicians including Gary Burton, among others.
