This is the pre-title introduction to David Bowie: Finding Fame.

The film uses BDH’s work extensively, animating his words, private photographs and using type, graphics and film effects to bring his early years to life – including baby photographs, rare gigs pics and unseen archive.

This is the story of how David Robert Jones became David Bowie, how David Bowie became Ziggy Stardust and how Ziggy became immortal, changing the musical landscape as he did so.

FINDING FAME is the third film in a trilogy of films from the BBC, following DAVID BOWIE: FIVE YEARS and THE LAST FIVE YEARS which was also designed by BHD.

David Bowie: Finding Fame is shown on BBC Two in the UK on Saturday 9th February at 9pm.
