Reeves Gabrels, songwriter, member of bands The Cure and Tin Machine and co-producer of ‘Earthling’ discusses how ‘Earthling’ was the first Bowie album to have recorded the bass, drums and some guitars onto an analogue tape machine and later uploaded into a computer where the sound could be manipulated.
